I sketched a very nice pair of scissors in the last panel (and even learned that apparently most [right-handed?] scissors always have the left blade over the right!!!?!), but then I wondered why she would have an actual pair of scissors, and came to the conclusion that it would make more sense if she had a small swiss army knife. Willie is hoping to join the crew of the Eagle Ray again, with whom she spent three revolutionary months last summer, before returning home to deal with some family business.
The Eagle Ray is now based on Dog Island. Willie’s plan is to hitch a ride with an aid shipment from the Sha-Guo Marine Workers Solidarity Committee, which is in contact with people on Dog Island. Easier said than done!
