Dog Island, the epic anarcho-communist romance comic ~
Willie is hoping to join the crew of the Eagle Ray again, with whom she spent three revolutionary months last summer, before returning home to deal with some family business.
The Eagle Ray is now based on Dog Island. Willie’s plan is to hitch a ride with an aid shipment from the Sha-Guo Marine Workers Solidarity Committee, which is in contact with people on Dog Island. Easier said than done!
I didn’t show it in Driftwood, but of course Aeron gave her their mailing address.
The interior is a bit based on my dorm room at Moscow State University. But it’s twice as big, since entire families may live in these rooms.

Last week I watched This Is England (the film and the two TV miniseries) and became totally obsessed with it. It’s one of the best things I’ve ever seen on TV. V*(oo)*V
