If you don’t know who the guy on page 7, panel 3 is – shame on you. Hint 1: he’s French. Hint 2: you should read his books and not mind too much what’s known about his personal life.

    On that, though, I could not agree with Willie. Posession gives a sense of comfort and security, and so legally protected property is vital to a happy society. A socialist I may be, but a propertarian one…

    While Willie is talking more about consumerism here, there’s also a difference is between private property and personal property. :3 The latter can be your personal stuff, clothes, a home. Private property is on a bigger scale, where you hoard resources that are more than you need for yourself and your family, and just let them sit unused, or make profit off them (such as ‘owning’ a water source that could provide your whole community with free water, but making people pay you to use it).
