Driftwood 9 52

That’s a rather nice corner in the last panel. :3

This is their very nice and very big doggie, Masha:

She has a part in the story I drew for the Swedish Comic Sin 3 anthology (which you really should get a copy of – already Masha alone makes it an absolute ‘must-read’ V^(oo)^V).

Over at the Driftwood Tumblr, I’m currently doing a series of posts about Gateshead and all the places where this story is set, which you might be interested in checking out …

We were watching the HBO series based on Ken Follett’s “Pillars of the Earth”, which was apparently filmed in Hungary, and there were two Masha-type monsters lolling around in a scene! Clearly some kind of Caucasian ovcharka, not white like kuvasz. Also, mangalitsa-type piggies had important roles in the first episode.

Heh, I can imagine that it makes a good HBO series … Maybe I have to see at least the first episode for the sake of the curly snouters … :3

  3. Tinet says:

It does make sense to use mangalitzas, because there was once an ancient curly coated breed of piggies also in Britain, the Lincolnshire curly-coated pig … V^(oo)^V
